Esprit Engineering offers a gearbox reconditioning and rebuild service in house. We stock all major gearbox components including V8 parts to provide a fast turnaround back to you. We endeavour to have a rebuilt, reconditioned gearbox on the shelf in a ready to go state.

You can supply us your gearbox or ideally bring your Lotus in to us. With Esprit Engineering being a gearbox rebuilding specialist you can rest assured that your gearbox will be repaired properly. We see a number of cases a year where customers bring in there Esprit's which have had gearbox rebuilds recently by places that simply do not know what they are doing and this results in the customer having to spend the money the second time but having the gearbox rebuild correctly for many more miles. We strip the gearboxes down, degrease thoroughly then aqua blast the aluminium housings, then thoroughly cleaned once again. They are then inspected and the necessary replacement parts are installed and then the gearbox is rebuilt.

Esprit Engineering can undertake performance upgrades to the internals such as the installation of an Limited Slip Differential or Quaife gearsets and shafts.
